Once again we got lucky with a last minute reservation, this one for a lake front camp site (# 216). We pulled the RV in backwards and were just a short rocky walk down to the lake. It felt like we were the only ones there as there were no one in the lake at the location that we were. Shtargots and Negreys joined us for this trip. We had another site booked…but Shtargots and Negreys pitched a tent on our site 216, it was more fun when we were all together. The location was beautiful, it was a little bit hot that weekend as there was a heat wave (about 108). But we were in the lake almost the whole day so it didn’t feel too hot. Boomer was tied with a 20FT leash and he did great. He loved being with all of us outdoors. Shtargots brought the giant SUP board and everyone enjoyed playing with it.
Sasha, Leonard, Liam, Josh, and Sammy went finishing one evening on the SUP, no fish but they had a great time. Liam and Josh caught little blue gills which they returned back to the lake. In the evenings, we walked to the store at Collins Lake for Wi-Fi and ice cream, it was perfect. Our stay there was great. We enjoyed having the RV, it was great to cook, prep, and sleep in there.
