Not wanting to waste any time, we (I) decided to head out on the road for our first RV trip only a couple of days after we brought it home. We somehow lucked out getting a last minute spot at the Half Moon Bay RV Park. We had a great time there and learned a few things about the RV. We stayed in the last spot on the row, so we only had neighbors on one side (space 55). We were about half a mile from the beach and a third of a mile from a very nice dog park (Boomer loved this feature). This was actually the first time for Boomer to play in a dog park. While the RV park was pretty much a nice parking lot, the surrounding area was very peaceful and quiet. We also got to enjoy some hikes through beautiful fields on the way to the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The Shtargots and Andrew joined us on Saturday night. Overall it was a great weekend getaway in the RV, and a successful test run.
