One day you’re taking conference calls in a comfy chair swing right on the bayou, the next day you’re taking those same calls on a wire chair in a RV parking lot in Shreveport, Louisiana. Such is life on the road in a RV adventure. This stop was just a quick overnighter on the way to Texas where we’ll spend the next 6 days spread over 3 different stops. We did end opting for the late check out so we could all complete our work/school day in comfort. Happy to spend that extra $10 to stay plugged in and keep our slide out, as opposed to finding a Walmart parking lot to work from along the way (which we’ve also done).
The downside of the Shreveport KOA is that it’s apparently located along a late night race track (I’m half joking), otherwise known as the street in front of the KOA, which we were about 30 feet from. The upside is that they actually had a decent dog park, where Boomer made a new friend, Titan the Doberman.
Before a thunderstorm chased me inside the RV, I did get to work outside for a few hours which was nice (but not as nice as our previous stop). Before too long it was time to hit the road again. Next stop is Canton, Texas, where we’ll spend the weekend at another KOA, which looks to be much nicer than the one in Shreveport (not that this one was too bad).
