While it would have been nice to stay a bit longer, this was mostly a quick overnight stop over. We rolled into the Riverwood RV Resort at about 10pm local time and we were scheduled to leave about 3pm, after the boys were done with school and Lana and I were done with meetings.
Riverwood was much nicer than a gas station or Walmart parking lot, which would have been our other option. The nice lady who ran the place gave us a couple of extra hours to stay in our spot so we could all finish up with our scheduled work/school activities which wouldn’t be until after regular check out time. If you ever find yourself needing to spend the night anywhere in the area (and you happen to be in a RV), you could do much worse than Riverwood RV Resort.
Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to explore the town of Mancos but we did walk around the “resort” and the boys played in the creek. Boomer also got to interact with the neighborhood dog bully, which was fun to watch.
Wow these are some awesome pics! Looks like you guys are having a good time!
